Mark Roth, Associate Professor at the University of Washington and FHCRC, is giving a talk on "suspended animation". The first report of this phenomenon was published by a good friend of min, Eric Blackstone, back when he was a student in Roth's lab. This paper was published in the journal Science.
When this came out, there was all sorts of hub-bub about this in the media, which was tons of fun. Says a lot about picking a good title!
Check it out!
